We've put together a list of the most common questions to help you understand more about our organization, our live events, and what you can expect. If your question isn't here, fill out our Contact Form, or Ask Us Anything. You can also call us at 954-501-0280.
What should I expect after attending a live event?
Our goal is for you to see your Parenting Plan and/or Settlement Agreement from a completely different perspective. Through role-playing exercises, thought-provoking questions, and the sharing of real-life stories, you will receive essential insights that you won't find anywhere else!
WILL MY INFORMATION BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL?
We will never share your name or legal documents, including drafts, with anyone outside of the SplitStrong organization. We encourage you to use discretion when sharing personal information at a live event as there are other attendees in the room or in a virtual conference room. Learn more by reading our Privacy Policy.
HOW DOES SPLITSTRONG FIT ONTO MY TEAM?
We have a tremendous amount of respect for all of the professionals involved in the divorce, family law, psychology, and co-parenting professions. Adding SplitStrong to your team provides you with a perspective unlike any other. Failure is the best teacher, and you will learn from other people’s failures.
WILL MY CHILD(REN)'S CO-PARENT ATTEND THE SAME LIVE EVENT?
Our standard protocol is to keep co-parents out of the same live event to ensure that there are no conflicts. We do this by collecting the name of the co-parent and the initials of your child(ren) during the registration process. If you elect to work with us on a private basis, then we'll work exclusively with you to avoid a conflict of interest.
WHAT IS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND SPLITSTRONG?
For almost a decade, we’ve heard the stories and seen the tears, often wondering why so many individuals had to learn invaluable lessons the hard way. After dissecting hundreds of documents, interviewing divorced parents, and accumulating stories, we created SPLITSTRONG. The driving question was “How can we help prevent individuals from making the same crucial mistakes?”
HOW DO I QUANTIFY THE VALUE OF WORKING WITH SPLITSTRONG?
The average family law attorney in Florida charges between $250 and $300 per hour. One legal issue can entail explaining the problem, drafting a legal document, recurring communication between attorneys, legal reviews of requested changes from opposing counsel, finalizing a legal document, creating a supplemental petition, and court filing fees. With the assistance of SplitStrong, preventing one common mistake could save you thousands of dollars in unnecessary legal expenses, and potentially over $10,000. In addition, you'll eliminate unnecessary stress which represents its own form of currency.
